Over a sixth-month period, 22 UK-based emerging photographers have taken part in the East Meets West Masterclass programme organised by GRAIN Projects, FORMAT and QUAD.

Working as EAST MEETS WEST Collective, we shared and expanded these connections by exhibiting together and engaging with the audience in a public programme of talks and workshops, as part of FORMAT22 Presents.

For this exhibition, I presented the series Parallel realities by playing with the sensitivity of looking into memories through a device a slide viewer and exploring the narratives of exploration. We as a group looked back, sensitively exploring family histories, belonging and cultural identity.
